Oaron stopped at the edge of a small town a somehow managed to sink his black angel wings back into his skin. He walked into the old town looking around the worn out roads. He slipped his hands into his pockets and strode casually down the dirt road looking here and there at the passing buildings and shops. He stopped in front of one that had a large sign reading "Inn". He walked through the door and to the lady sitting behind the front desk. She looked up at him and smiled. "May I help you?" she asked kindly alone to be returned with a clod stare. "I need a room." Oaron said in a dark voice as he looked around the room. A group of shadowed figures stood in the corner of the room with cloaks shading their features. He turned his attention back to the lady, his auburn eyes staring at her. "S-Sure." she said a little frightened by the dark aura around him. "Here you go. Room 13." she said as she tried to smile handing him the key. "Thank you." he said before grabbing the key and walking up the stairs to the door labeled 13 and walked in. He shut the door behind him and looked out the small window in his room. He could sense it. What he had been searching for all these long years was somewhere in this town. Weary from a long travel here Oaron decided to rest for the night and start his search tomorrow.

>>>>Daphne was getting annoyed. Stalking her pray was probably the hardest part. Hardly anyone would answer her questions truthfully because they didn't trust her. Of course, who would trust a girl in a mask? Someone told her he would be in Mythril. She wasn't paid enough for this job. The man said to find him and gave her no further information except for his name and a poorly drawn sketch. She knew this would be difficult. >>>>Eventually, she decided to take a break and get a room at the inn. As soon as she entered, she saw him. She suppressed a sigh of relief. Her search was finally over. Now for the fun part! She overheard that her prey would be in room thirteen. This little fucker wasn't going to get away easily. She stalked up the stairs after him. She would silently slip in the door behind him and make her move. She could just use her powers and freeze time, but that would be taking the fun out of it. She was good at her job with out her powers, and she knew it.

While Oaron was staring out the small window in his room. A rush if cool air came from behind. He looked over his shoulder at a girl wearing some kind of mask. He closed his eyes, sighing. 'I thought had sensed that someone was following me but wasn't sure, guess I was right.' he turned back towards the window calmly. "Your an assasin, right? Guess I'll just have to add you to my collection." he turned towards her again staring at her with emotionless eyes. He stretched out one arm as two black wings appears on on his back.

"Damn!" She cursed. She had only ever been caught once on the job and that was from being careless. She still got the job done, but she had to kill someone else in the process. Come to think of it, that was actually her last job. Was she forming a bad luck streak, or was it just coincidence? Either way, she had to get out of it. She moved sideways and braced herself. She unsheathed her sword and came at Oaron. 'You will die, Oaron,' she thought to herself.

Oaron closed his right eye and dodged her attack by grabbing the sword in between his hands. "Who told you about me? Where is your employer?" he said keeping a tight grip on her sword.

Daphne looked down, making sure to avoid eye contact. She had been told about the powers of his eyes and would try her best not to fall victim to it. "That is not for you to know. All you need to know is I was sent to kill you and I am simply doing my job," she growled. She took her sword and, with all of her strength, she knocked him off balance and to the ground. She adjusted her grip on her sword and stood over Oaron. With her foot on his chest, she brought her sword back and aimed to plunge it into his chest. "Now die!" she screamed.

Oaron smirked opening his right eye. "Nice try." he said as he disappeared in awhirlwind of feathers. his laughing was all that was left in the empty room. "You're good, but not good enough. Be lucky I spared your life. If you're smart you'll leave and not come after me. Farewell." his voice echoed through the room then nothing but silence. He teleported to the outshirts of the village looking back at the inn. "Hmph. An assasin? Really, how far do they plan to go to kill me?" he shook his head before walking out of the village and to the forest. 'I'll just have to hide here till things cool down...' he thought before finding a small cave deep in the forest to rest in.

Daphne tried to catch him before he disappeared. Her fists clenched in furry as he mocked her. "I will find you!" she screamed. She threw her sword to the ground and began stomping her feet. "Goddamn it!" she cursed. Cursing was the only thing she could think of right now. "Damn it, damn it, damn it! Damn it all to hell!" She wanted to take her anger out on something. She wanted to break something. She quickly saw a mirror and smashed it up against the wall. Footsteps. She heard footsteps coming up the stairs and froze for a moment. She saw the open window and jumped out.

Oaron walked through the outskirts of town, avoiding large crowds and wondering eyes. After that little encounter with that assassin, he wasn't going to take any chances. He even added a black cloak and put the hood up to cover his face. For all he knew, there could be more like her waiting to strike. He walked through the doors of an old building as loud chattering and laughing of drunk men filled his ears. He sighed walking up to the man behind the bar. He slid his hood off as the man looked over. "Ah! Oaron! I didn't know you were in town! When'd ya get here?" he asked as Oaron sat at the bar. "This morning. Listen, I need so place to hide for the time being. Anywhere would be fine." he said looking over his shoulder to see if anyone had followed him in. "Hide? Oh Oaron, don't tell me you-" "I didn't do anything. An assassin showed up." Oaron said cutting him off. He blinked a few times then looked around before leaning closer. "An assassin you say? If you need somewhere to hide for the time being you can hide in my attic. No one goes up there." the man said. "Thanks, Kago." The man named Kago smiled and nodded towards a stair case behind the bar. Oaron got up and lifted his hood over his head before walking behind the bar and up the stairs to the attic.

>>>>Daphne was about to give up. She would have to try again tomorrow. For tonight, she decided to rest. She would need it in order to find him. She had wondered many times why people where even after him. No one ever told her, but she knew better than to ask. Not knowing is part of the job. You just get in, kill, and get out. >>>>She had no idea where she was going to sleep tonight. Luckily, she remembered that a former colleague lived in the next town. It was a bit far from where she needed to be, but it was the best she could do to keep her identity safe.

Oaron woke up before dawn and snuck out the small window in the attic. He landed gracefully on his feet and looked around. The sun was just raising and there was a light fog covering the ground. That girl… she’s smart enough to avoid my mirror eye without trouble. Whoever hired her knows more about me then I would like for a human to know. I need to eliminate them both before more of my secrets get uncovered. Oaron pulled up his hood over his head and started towards the next village. Nothing he was seeking for was here and he needed to make a distance between this town and himself. By noon he arrived in the small village over. He pulled his hood down lower and continued walking. There was no room for mistakes this time. He needed to stay low until that assassin gave up the chase and if not, kill her immediately. He sighed. This was going to be a long day.

>>>>"Wake up, lazy ass." >>>>Daphne groaned. She looked outside the window and noticed that the sun was already up. She had usually been up before sunrise. Was I that exhausted? She turned over to see Ariel, a former assassin, staring at her impatiently. She had stayed there last night because it was the only safe option. Ariel, when she was an assassin, was probably the most human of them all and was always there to remind Daphne that she still had a bit of humanity left in her even though she was a witch. She reminded her that everyone still had a little bit of good left in them. >>>>Ariel left the Society a year ago. She left without saying anything to anyone, but everyone knew why she left. She was weak minded. Weaker than the rest, at least. She couldn't handle the killing anymore and no longer wanted to be a part of it. She was one of the few people in the Society that still believed that human life had a value. She went AWOL on the night of her birthday. It was rumored that she was pregnant and didn't want the baby to live the same life she did. Daphne found out that this was partly true, but it ended up being a miscarriage. When she left, nothing was said. No one was sent to kill her because deserters are not worth the time wasted. They don't speak to deserters and cut off all contact. They are worthless. >>>>"I have to go now. I have to finish a job." Daphne implied. >>>>"Why do you still do this? Why do you still kill people with no rhyme nor reason?" Ariel always questioned Daphne's actions. She probably cared more about her than anyone else did. >>>>"I have a reason. It's called 'money'," the other girl answered. >>>>"Whatever, just don't forget your face mask." >>>>"Thanks." Daphne picked up the mask off of the nightstand beside the bed and tied it around the back of her head, an action that had become natural to her. After hugging Ariel bye, she left without grabbing anything breakfast. Eating would just slow her down.

Oaron walked through the busy streets, hiding within the shadows to take attention away from himself. He didn't know if there were any other assassins after him and he didn't want to take the chance either. He walked over to a small shop to buy some items for his travels. His "light" apparently wasn't here so he decided to move on. Plus, that girl was still snooping around looking for him. If he got far enough away from this area, maybe she wouldn't follow. It was his only choice.

ooc: teh sucks
Daphne needed a plan to catch her target. But what? Well, he is a man, isn't he? she thought to herself. What better way to catch him than to appear as a beautiful and loose gypsy dancer? She would create the perfect disguise. With her magic, she made her self appear a bit younger. People had always told her she looked mature for her age. She dressed herself as a dancer and brushed up on her skills. Before leaving she stopped in front of a mirror to see how she looked. "Ugh," she mumbled. "I look like a slut." Perfect.

Oaron watched as different people rushed through the crowded streets of the market. I wonder what move she'll make on me now... Oaron thought as he glanced a two younger women that passsed by his hiding place in the shadows. She could be anyone... I'm not sure if she can use majic but I must be on the lookout. Oaron sighed as he continued watching the crowds pass by. Hmph. I don't have time to be playing hide-n-seek with an assassin. I should be off searching for my light. Not only that but hiding my true figure is draining a lot of my power. If she finds me like this, I might not be able to escape this time. Oaron sighed as he pulled his hood down to cover more of his face. He cringed and grabbed his shoulder to stop the pain. Damn! I've lost too much power. I need to find another demon to absorb or... Oaron's train of thought was broken as he caught a young dancer in the crowd. He stared at the girl feeling uneasy with the girls presence. Could it be the assassin? No... She was older. Oaron continued to stare at the girl making sure not to lose her in the dense crowds.
